Delicious food. My family and I were on vacation and we were in the mood for Latin Mexican food. We're very picky with Mexican food. We're from Philadelphia , and honestly we have taste tons of Mexican food. I have to say, this place is Delicious, food portion is huge. I'd recommend fajita taco salad you can go wrong lots of chicken tasteful and did I say huge portions. But one bad thing is that the men's restroom has a real bad odor, as if you didn't clean a cats litter box for weeks. Which is not good. I'm giving it four stars because if the food.

Bad service and bad food. The food presentation was terrible, the food looked as bad as it tasted. Normally the food comes out quick at Mexican restaurants, but this took over 20 mins and it was not busy that night.

What can be said... This eatery is unsurpassed for great service and terrific food! This is always on our agenda when visiting the area. If you want excellent service, friendly faces, fast responses, and true authentic foods this is where to be.

Went there for lunch. Typical Mexican restaurant with a good variety of menu options and a lunch buffet on certain days. Good food but nothing outstanding.

Soo...we were craving Mexican/margaritas, and Mexico Lindo seemed like a decent choice. Drinks were strong, but everything else was OK. Some of the rice was undercooked (mmm crunchy rice...), and the promised veggies/ingredients in the food were either transparent or they weren't there...waiters were running around, but attention was sometimes hard to get. We asked for more tortilla chips and salsa, but only got more chips (how am I supposed to eat chips w/o salsa???!!) My chiles poblanos were pretty good--loveeed the queso sauce. Prices were pretty standard (on the cheap end), portions were large (food coma inevitable if you finish yours), decor was decent, and they apparently have a lunch buffet.

The food was pretty good and the service and atmosphere are OK. One of the best things is you get a lot of food at a decent price, but on the bad side trying to talk with the waiter is almost impossible, things seem to get lost in translation.

Worst meal I have had since moving to North Myrtle Beach by far. Had three starving teenage boys with me. Each one did not finish their meal. Food was tasteless and greasy. My margarita was all mix. Sixty bucks for horrible food is ridiculous. The empty parking lot of a holiday weekend should have been my first clue!!!

Service was excellent, food was average for Mexican restaurant. Better than any other Mexican restaurant I have tried at the beach....but not the best I have ever had. Mens restroom was out of order, but they have two of each Men/Women. Would go again...

Waited 15 minutes and no one came with drinks. Table beside said service is very slow! So we left.

We went here at around 8pm after a long drive from Ohio because it was super close to the house we were renting and I have to say we would not go back. We were seated quickly, but the rest of our service was a little slow. The worst part was the salsa...it had a paste-like consistency and had no flavor. Usually we devour the chips and salsa, but we stopped eating them pretty quickly here. The rest of our food was decent, but I just don't enjoy a Mexican place that has bad salsa.

We are here last night. I remembered Mexico lindo from the last the I visited myrtle beach and it did not live up to what I remembered. We got the shrimp dip which was the only saving grace of our time there. I ordered the fish tacos, they were ok. The fish was not fried and they were super spicy. My boyfriend and I ended up sharing because the waiter did not understand that he ordered his own food and he did not put in the order. The service was horrible I had to track down the waiter to get a refill and get the check. He knew he messed up and put a smiley face near the tip area on the receipt, and we left no tip. I think our experience would have been better if my boyfriend would have received his food and if we had a different waiter. My memory of this place was tarnished and if we do come back it will be for the shrimp dip and salsa to go.

Unfortunately, my experience was not the greatest. Was probably not a good idea to visit them on the busy night of Cinco de Mayo. Right from the beginning the staff seemed rather confused on how to seat our group of 6. The restaurant seemed incapable of operating at heavy capacity. Complimentary chips had run out. The waitress warned us our food would take at least a half hour to prepare...after nearly 90 minutes of waiting, we finally got our food (some of which was missing) While the food was good, our experience was awful and my friends still hold me responsible for my "bad selection". If this restaurant appears busy, save your time and GET OUT.

The worst mexican food I have ever had. microwaved salty ground beef was disguisting. I had 4 bites and stopped due to fear of food poisioning. salsa was watery and cheese was gross. bathrooms were disguisting and tables sticky. avoid this place at all costs.

Mexican Cuisine

If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.

Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.

Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.
